IPPE Antitrust Policy

The International Production & Processing Expo's (IPPE) objective is to connect the global animal food and protein communities with innovative technology, learning experiences and networking to improve their business. IPPE is not intended to, and may not, play any role in the competitive decisions of its exhibitors or attendees, nor in any way restrict competition. The purpose of this statement is to make clear IPPE's unequivocal support for the policy of competition served by the antitrust laws and its intent to comply strictly in all respects with those laws.

IPPE and its committees and activities shall not be used for the purpose of bringing about or attempting to bring about any understanding or agreement, written or oral, formal or informal, expressed or implied, among competitors with respect to prices, terms or conditions of sale, distribution, volume of production, territories, customers, or the hiring, recruitment or compensation of employees or contractors.

No IPPE activity or communication shall include discussion for any purpose or in any fashion of pricing, production quotas, employee or contractor compensation, or other limitations on either timing, costs, or volume of production or sale, or allocation of territories or customers. Nor shall any IPPE activity or communication include discussion of any understandings or agreements between competitors regarding the recruitment, hiring or compensation of competitors' employees or contractors.

Exhibitors and attendees are expected to observe these antitrust guidelines in all formal and informal discussions at IPPE meetings. Any knowing violation of IPPE's Antitrust Compliance Policy by an exhibitor or attendee may result in remedial action, including but not limited to that exhibitor's or attendee's suspension or immediate removal from the trade show.
